I love how time can seem to go slowly or sometimes very fast, depending on circumstances or perspective. How can Earth have been blessed with this sweet little girl for a whole year already?! It seems like just yesterday that she arrived, so It’s so hard to believe that she’s taking steps and saying words! Well, I got to spend some time with her and it made my week! Now, my blog has been sorely neglected for some time, (SORRY!), but I just HAD to share some photos from this day….
Hey! A post! Many of you have waited quite a while for this one… I’m unveiling my Summer Siblings Special!! I thought I would get this to you in the Spring, but alas, no. However the weather is still like spring, (and wasn’t so great for outdoor photos a month or two ago), so I have a feeling this will work out better for everyone! On to the special… The Summer Siblings Special is about celebrating the siblings in our families. It goes like this: $100 session fee (usually $125) 1 8×10 included (a $25 value) $25 from each session is donated to Camp to Belong Washington, where siblings separated by foster, adoptive and kinship placements are reunited for a week at camp. So it’s not just something nice you’re doing for YOUR family, by preserving memories among your own children. It’s also helping kids make lasting memories with their brothers and sisters they live apart from. Without Camp to Belong, most of these kids would not ever get this chance. The Summer Siblings Special is available for up to 5 siblings within the same family. (Family images are also available in siblings sessions.) All sessions must be scheduled by July 31. All session dates must be before August 15th. Call or email me today to get your date booked! For those of you with only 1 child, don’t fret… I’ll have my SHARE THE SESSION special soon. It was so much fun to watch her explore her environment and to capture it in images. The flowers, the sunshine, the bees buzzing and butterflies floating were nothing compared to watching her. What a gift she must be to her lovely family and what a treat for me to meet her and spend time with her. Here’s a peek…..

Of course her family would never allow it, but when she’s here she’s just like one of us and we love that. I was so glad to be able to take her senior portraits; here’s a sneak peek. by holly no comments I got to photograph the cutest NEW siblings recently! –It makes my heart happy!– Now, the older sister is too young to know that it hurts the younger brother to lean on him, and the younger brother wasn’t aware that we were hiding candy underneath him for big sis to find, but I can already tell that when they get a bit older they’ll be great friends. Their parents are teaching them that, and they already have a We Belong Siblings Journal to help! Here are a few previews from the session. Thanks, Family, for the fun!
